Nathan Matthews, her step-brother, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, preventing lawful burial, and perverting the course of justice.
He has however pleaded not guilty to murder.

Karl Demetrius and Jaydene Parsons have pleaded guilty to assisting an offender, having stored the cut-up body in their house. However, they claim they thought it was cannabis and did not know that it contained body parts.
Donovan Demetrius and Jamie Ireland have pleaded not guilty in relation to similar charges.
