Interesting article in today's Herald (one of Scotland's national papers).
Linda Woolfson was the sister who gave me so much support when I gave birth at the Queen Mum's. Ds was a horror to latch on and sometimes it would take over half an hour, with her (or other midwives) help to get him "on" - but I was never made to feel guilty for asking for help. It's really down to her, plus the bf midwives who ran the support group at the hospital (that she took me along to before I'd even been discharged!), that I ended up feeding ds for 13 months. That plus my bloody mindedness!
I'm pleased to see though that she does say that breastfeeding can be hard work at first!
