and apparently halifax have something to do with farepack? (dd ripped the article out of my hands before I found out what)

Think they should just frigging bail out the scheme. They could explain it to their shareholders as "avoiding customer boycott"

i think they lent them the money, then when it was not repaid called in the receivers.

OMG ? just found this piece of news re Halifax.

This is scandalous that the bank gets all their money back!!!
