One of the saddest things about this story is looking at the picture, she had no reason on earth to be taking 'diet' pills. This is a real indictment on our society, that women who do not need to diet are going to such drastic lengths. So so sad.

Was just saying the same thing to my DH last night OP.
She was only 21.
Such a sad story that hopefully serves as a warning to others.

According to the Times today, Amazon are selling an e-book telling people how to use this particular 'diet pill'. I hope Amazon will withdraw this book from sale.

It's terrible. Her poor parents. Outrageous that these pills are even allowed to be sold online.
