The brain abnormality is unlikely to be the sole cause but it's a huge start into understanding cot death.

I wonder if, in the future, they will scan babies and let their parent know if their baby has this abnormality. It's going to be such a hard thing for parents to know. I don't think I'd sleep well at all, if I knew but I would want to know.
