10-year-old boy with serious illness missing in Croydon

Malikhi ran away from home at 1am this morning and has adrenal hyperplasia, which means he needs medication three times a day. It can be life-threatening. apparently. I really, really hope he's found soon. As if it's not terrifying enough that a child is out there on his own, he's probably missed two doses of his medicine already. Poor little boy.

Bumping again...London/Surrey folk need to see this

EdithWeston · 31/03/2015 13:21

"Malakhi has connections to the Thornton Heath, Victoria and Croydon areas and may be travelling on public transport. The last sighting of him was at 7am and he does not have a phone, Oyster card or any money on him."

As he's 10, he could be getting round by bus without an Oyster. I hope he's gone to somewhere safe, and is with people who will seek medical help (and that predictions of coma are worst case, not imminent likelihood).

Last sighting now reported as CCTV 7:30am on Thornton Heath High Street.

He appears to have left his home of his own volition, and is wearing navy coat with fur-trimmed hood, black jeans and red T-shirt with a meerkat on it.

He appears to be quite distinctive so long as he is wearing glasses and has same hairstyle. Also, you would notice a youngster on his own in the early morning, before the school run.

BellMcEnd · 31/03/2015 16:11

He's been found! Thank goodness. Will post the sky news link

Beloved72 · 31/03/2015 16:38

Oh phew.Smile

My dc's know this little lad. He's one of the cleverest children at school and has a lovely family. I've had a lump in my throat since reading about him going missing, thinking about his parents and his siblings. I'm really really really glad he's been found.

BellMcEnd · 31/03/2015 16:51

Ah, that's a lovely post, Beloved. I'm so so relieved he's ok

EdithWeston · 31/03/2015 16:51
