After being demanded by Timeout, talked about by The Telegraph and shouted for by the people of London, Annie the Owl pops up for a week in Soho. Annie will accompany a few of her friends on this journey. Come along to sip cocktails, meet Annie and her friends and enjoy some music, comedy and the electric atmosphere of this one time only bar in Soho.

Ok if you think this is a good idea then go sit in the corner and have a word with yourself. The majority of birds do not enjoy being stroked, the shots of a Little Owl cowering under people’s hands is unacceptable and the owner of this bird shows a complete and utter lack of understanding or care for the bird. Stroking birds removes the natural oil from their feathers rendering them less waterproof and less able to keep themselves warm. Yes over 40k people have signed up for this event but badger baiting and cock fighting at one time would have had the same response. Think People!!!!

If like me and lots of other people you think this is a really bad idea and want to help stop it follow this link and sign the petition.

One last point the comapnies and people who suggested this organised that and worst of all agreed to supply the birds really shouldn't get away with this without thinking long and hard.
