kiwisbird - does this help: playstation use with the joy pad helps with hand eye cordination in terms of computer use. All the children at school who have things like playstations can controlt he mouse way better

Oh and strategy computer games (Simcity, Theme Park, Civilisation, etc) help logic, problem solving, etc. They are even sold in education catalogues

Thankyou GA, I've had to almost totally give up CBeebies since there was a report on the BBC a couple of weeks ago that said the opposite! It was a study from America so I did think, "well they're talking about crap like Polka Dot Shorts". I've been missing MY fix!
