Calling anyone whose family is affected by Type 1 Diabetes - Jamie Oliver has been campaigning in the US for children to drink water instead of sugary drinks, which was all fine, until he made the major schoolboy error of associating sugary drinks with Type 1 Diabetes, with an offensive picture which is getting tens of thousands of ill-informed "likes" on FB. I've written an Open Letter to him on my blog asking him to set the record straight and am doing all I can to spread the word. My husband and daughter both have Type 1 diabetes, btw.
