Is anyone watching channel 4: data theft

I was always worried about indian call centres and telesales but this is making my blood run cold.

I watched it.

But what I couldn't understand is...if someone rang me up and asked for my debit / credit card number, and the security number, there is no way in the world I would give it to them.

I think in some cases some of us are at least partly to blame...

Not that I agree with what they are doing, it's shocking, and sounds like it is not limited to call centres that are outside of this country...

What can you do hey?

i didn't see it, but listened to a radio programme a few weeks back that said most banks just get rid of their paperwork (including personal details) in skips outside the buildings. the security is awful.
