TFL intend to remove a lane from the road system across London between Tower Hill and Acton and to dedicate it exclusively to cyclists, 2% of the travelling public. TFL states that this will mean longer journeys for everyone else using road transport both during construction and once complete. It will also mean longer waits for pedestrians at crossings.
