God, they are soooooo stupid! A crane fly Daddy long legs is not a spider Daddy Longlegs and a Spider Daddy Longlegs cannot fly!!!!!

Snot a crane fly in that picture, tis a harvestman.
We have hundreds of them here - I counted 46 on the gable wall of our house. I stupidly left the upstairs windows open one day last week when it was warm - we were inundated, and DD traumatised.

ive got loads of these things all over my house!!wish i could get rid of them my 2yr old calls them spiders!!!!

Hate, hate, hate them. Have also been infested since leaving the window open a few nights ago and have somehow managed to tread on 2 barefoot YUK.

That's not a daddy long-legs! I should know - our kitchen floor and entrance hall are a daddy long-legs morgue. Dh sweeps up at least half-a-dozen every morning.

Did you know that they only live about 24h? It's particularly gruesome when they start dying and shedding legs, and spinning around on the floor like some sort of demented fairground ride.
