One of our lovely friends was killed on 9/11 but I don't know KATG's story......is it ok to ask?

Her husband was killed in the World Trade Centre. She was pregnant with dd2 at the time.

Thinking of KATG today, and everyone else lost, or who lost loved ones, that day.

My younger brother died of cancer on 4th September 2001 and 9/11 happened while we were in the limbo land between his death and his funeral.

My parents actually went to see him laid out on the afternoon of 9/11 and saw the news about an hour later.

My mother said "A lot of people have lost sons this week"

It is also Kate's DD1 birthday today {iirc}

I echo all the previous comments here. Feeling pretty sad today.

How devastating for KATG and I send you love and strength through the wires xxx.

The comforting thing for us is that our friend had lived enough to fill many lifetimes and would have been very proud to be part of the biggest news story the modern world has seen. We live our lives a bit differently now.

Let the world learn from it please.
