An estimated 50,000 people marched from the BBC's New Broadcasting House in central London to Westminster.

yet BBC didn't bother to mention it in their news bulletins...

I think this film is worth watching (under 3 min long) where inequality we all experience is explained:

That Independent article is shameful. I'd expect better for Heat magazine Hmm

I'm shocked at this, it just shows how our news is being manipulated and we cannot trust the media

I found this documenting the day and this which was added to the BBC website after complaints of lack of coverage

CogitoErgoSometimes · 24/06/2014 08:52

That march appears on the BBC website here so it hasn't been omitted. YABU

antimatter · 24/06/2014 09:39

yes Cogito, nearly 24 hours after it happened, reported by Guardian and foreign News Agencies, police was informed so I would expect BBC was briefed as it started on the doorstep of BBC

I don't agree that I am being unreasonable in light that I created this post 12 hours before they put their 3 sentence long info

Why would they report it, Nigel Farage wasn't there! Wink

As usual, he pretty much sums it up nicely.

In August and Sept there is a huge march from Jarrow to London protesting the back-door selling off of the NHS, I wonder how much notice they'll take of that.

BBC in impartiality shocker.

To be fair 50,000 people marching isn't that big a deal really is it?

Covering it on the news 24 hours later seems appropriate.

It is terrifying how much the BBC is controlled. It's coverage of the independence referendum

Really? Where on earth are you getting that from? I appreciate of course the SNP doesn't tolerate any questioning of independence so yes I suppose even allowing anyone to do so is biased.
