my colleague is just reading out some fines that have been issued due to new littering laws... not sure which paper he reads so no idea how much credence is to be given, but anyhow it sounds preposterous (sp?)
a man got fine £50 for flicking his cigarette ash out the window, a man got fined the same because his toddler dropped a sweet on the street and another got fined because a slice of tomatoe slipped out of the sandwich he was eating whilst walking down the street... WTF???
Anything for a bit of revenue?
