We need a psychological survey to establish that fact? BBC report cites Dawn French, Ricky Gervais, Rowan Atkinson and Kathy Burke - it applies also to Ben Elton, Harry Enfield, Victoria Wood, Hugh Laurie and several others. Lots of them are youngest of 4, so I have great hopes of DS2 who is already very witty .

BIL is youngest of 4. He's about as funny as a napalm puppy running through an oxygen ward.
Mind you - he has a different dad to DH. DH is very funny but so is his eldest brother.
I, personally, am hilarious and I'm an only one (I'm also probably the only one that thinks I'm hilarious)

Ds is witty, dd specialises in physical comedy, usually of a smutty variety

DS2 is definitely the comedian in our family! DS1 is quiet & sensitive while DS2 is more of a handful & a complete clown!

Not sure about my kids yet - ds1 is only 5 and has only just managed a knock knock joke that makes sense. The other two are only hilarious in a you've been framed falling over type of way.

I'm certainly a lot funnier than my older sister, if I do say so myself , but then dh is v funny and he's the oldest of 4. But then all his bros are funny too. God, hope he doesn't see that survey, they compete enough about who is the tallest, can't imagine them trying to outdo each other in the wit stakes.

Erm dunno really, my younger brother is quite funny, but then so is my elder brother too. I'm in the middle and can be quite witty when I want to be.

With my kids it rings true. Dd2 is hilarious without even trying and Ds is too.

Dh is youngest of 3 boys, he is definately the funniest. So dd is destined to be dour then?
