Crisps.... the Brits' fav food ?

I am watching Money Matters.... anyone else is? It's on Crisps.... we Brits eat more crisps than all of the rest of Europe together....
We buy 2 billion pounds/year of crisps (half of that is Walkers)

Maybe too many of us think crisps are a vegetable or go in our daily 5 portions of fruits and veg

Golden wonder were yum in childhood , I will try them again out of nostalgia!

Well one medium potato does have 50% of our Vitamin C RDA

(no, I do agree that the vitamins are probably well fried out of them in crisp form...)

Last night we were watching an old episode of 'They Think It's All Over' and Jonathan Ross had to describe so they could guess the name 'Crispi' somebody.

He said 'An obesity-promoting, vomit-inducing snack that Jug-Ears over there advertises' (Gary Lineker). They got it straight away.

Crisps are yummy but popcorn is better for snack attacks!

Everything in moderation though

I love prawn cocktail flavour, hmmmmmm, but unusual flavours can be delic too. I wanted to watch that prog but DH wanted Corrie on and he won! Poo!
