Where are the Arab countries?

Watched the BBC news last night and once again it was dominated by the terrible situation in Lebanon. They showed a distraught Lebanese woman and she asked "where are the other Arab countries?"

That really stuck a cord with me. The West is always berated by Muslims for their deeds or misdeeds in the Middle East but what exactly are the Muslim countries doing to expedite this situation?

Are the Muslims in the West as critical of the apathetic response of Muslim nations as they are of Westen nations? Do many Muslim countries secretly agree that when push comes to shove, any country has the right to defend its borders and that they also recognise that the true puppet masters of this disaster are Syria and Iran.

Let's not forget also that the Lebanese kicked the Syrians out after they allegedly assassinated one of their govt Ministers. I just don't believe this whole thing is as black and white as some would have us believe.

Saudi Arabia has said if there is not a cease fire it will be a war.... dunno how effective that is as SA are still paying the US for the millitary 'help' they recieved for the first gulf war....

The world biggest user of oil is
the USA
Hence the Arab countries keeping schtum
Egypt is paid an awful lot of US money to behave, hence why it is targetted by terrorists so often as it seen as a western accomplice
But Syria Iran and Jordan are not in the US pockets, nor are the Arab pockets of North Africa and Europe.
Saudi And Jordan have both said, no ceasefire will equal a war where everyone will become a target.

Interesting point Fuzzy about the Arab pockets of North Africa. That's probably why they feel free to exterminate the black Africans in Darfur
