Just read about this on bbc news. The father of the Neville brothers is accused of 'sexual assault by penetration' - how is that different from rape?

Was the assault on a male?

Pan · 16/12/2013 17:45

Rape relies on the use of a penis.

StrangeGlue · 16/12/2013 17:45

Oh no Urgh! Does it mean penetration by something other than a penis?

Pan · 16/12/2013 17:46

Yes.

shoppingbagsundereyes · 16/12/2013 17:47

Assault on a woman. Maybe he allegedly attacked her with something else. All sounds horrific. He claims the incident happened but was consensual.

Sounds like it was a digit

Gosh, I really had not heard about this specifically. I live (very) close to this man and had no idea about any of this. How horrible.

tinsletits · 16/12/2013 18:07

Pan · 16/12/2013 18:12
