I couldn't care less about the drugs tbh I am no saint but I really don't think she took them twice due to those things as she would have taken more ime of people who use substances under stress. I just think all the lies etc are cringey

CS should be suing his accountants too - it seems very incongruous that these women were spending unfettered on these cards they were given, yet the accountant didn't think it was relevant spending at all and testified that he didn't think it was worth bothering CS/NL with?

The accountant thing is quite unbelievable considering the sums involved.

I have smoked and taken cocaine more than 6 times but I did it because most of my friends were doing it and it was fun at the time. I think the blaming an awful life is usually more applicable to addicts and not sporadic users who generally just take the odd line at parties etc.

If you were a cocaine addict, no way you would look as good as she does.
CS has latched onto the one thing the US will stop her from working for.

WHy are they cross examining her when the case is about theft? Addicts can look amazing. I hate the inference that its ok to be a sporadic user but not habitual. How do you think it starts?

I am sure she will be fine. CS can do little to hurt her. She is claiming nothing from him financially. They have no children together and she will always get work. The fact she has taken drugs 6 times and once in front of the presumably adult or almost adult children is obviously not very good but not particularly unusual and I doubt would stop her career. She is well rid of CS and that is all that matters and the sisters clearly seem to me to have stolen and probably need to be jailed for it. I hope someone is going to get all that stuff back - £600,000 of goods etc. Even if it is just sold for charity they should not be allowed to keep it.

I kind of hope this makes the hysteria around drugs subside a bit. I think it should be personal choice and she has done ok for someone who has done the odd line and smoked a bit as have I and most of my friends

The Grillos are planning to be using her alleged drug use as a justification for their spending. They have, apparently, said that she allowed them generous allowances in return for their not saying anything about her drug use to CS - I'm guessing that is why she is being cross-examined about it. If she can convince the jury that she wasn't a habitual user, then the Grillos (and CS) are lying. If not, there is reasonable doubt.
