Neither of them are politicians claiming the high moral ground. He was photographed with his hands around her neck and she has walked away and is in the process of divorcing him, so she's not an abused wife needing rescuing. He appears to have replaced her pretty quickly so he has some friends.

Even if he divorced her (which I think was a punishment move) why not just be discreet for all involved, especially the kids, including his dd, and do mediation, demand rehab, etc.
