This was in last Thursday's Metro
metro.co.uk/2013/09/12/a-dying-shame-too-little-and-too-late-in-syria-save-the-children-warns-3960279/

Where are the donations from UAE, Saudi Arabia, the wealthy Arab states who see chaos in their neighbours and are doing nothing as a country to help?
What happened to charity as one of the 5 Pillars?
Why is the US the largest donor, when they are reviled for interference by so many?
