Why if The Times *obsessed* with MMR and Wakefield?

Is there some sort of link via The Times owner or something?

They have had lots of articles recently mainly going on about the pending investigation into him and there was a column in the last few days saying 'middle class mums' should vaccinate etc

Don't want this thread to turn into yet another row but am curious as to why they do seem so biased (imo) for a newspaper.

because they did the original "expose" investigation in their paper which led to the gmc inquiry (re the 50,000GBP)

I thought there must be some sort of link, they are like a dog with a bone iyswim

I found the column very annoying and both mine had the MMR.

Lots of generalising going on.
