R.I.P Jon Brookes

The Charlatans drummer Jon Brookes has died aged 44.

The musician passed away in hospital on Tuesday morning surrounded by family, after battling with brain cancer.

Very sad. Thoughts are with his family.

So sad brilliant drummer . they lost their keyboard player too many years ago

Yes I remember that noddy - so tragic.

Really sad news. Many of my friends met him and he was a lovely genuine bloke. He insisted my mate had loads of photos of them together and invited another mate to his house for a cuppa to talk music! The Charlatans must be the nicest band in music as Tim seems totally lovely too.
