Who thinks that \link{http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/5047858.stm\this idea} has hee-haw chance of actually happening?
So if they don't pay them housing benefit how are they going to pay the rent? They just won't bother and then that will be another council money pit. The majority of people where I live are on benefits and as usual it is just the few who look on it as their right to get as much money as they can. It is an eye opener how much they can get as well, much more than we live on per week.
And as usual it is the honest ones who loose out.
Like I said, no chance of this working at all.
