here

He has PTSD, he wants ATOS - to be thoroughly checked out, he had his benefits re-instated on day 7 - he is on day 30ish now.

I don't think he will get his wish tbh

Yes that's not going to happen - though an enquiry in to Atos would be a very good idea. All that will happen is martydom for him if that's what he wants. He's clearly very troubled.

Sadly he seems to have 800 + facebook 'supporters'

I wonder if someone will step in and section him, I'm unsure if that's an option.

It's extremely sad but you have to respect him for taking a stand. Clearly the decision was wrong but until the MP and paper intervened, ATOS and the benefits agency would have been quite happy to see a vulnerable ill man out on the streets.

I wish just one government minister would read the story and feel one shred of sympathy, one moment of embarrassment, one iota of doubt... but I'm not hopeful.

The 10,000 people who have died will be shrugged off - as long as the government succeed in poisoning the public mind against the vulnerable and disabled, what do they care?

Sectioning - no, that can only be done when someone is mentally ill to the point where they are unable to make decisions for themselves. It can't be done just because you disagree with someone or think their behaviour is unwise.
