To ask how I can get my iPhone 5 screen repaired without paying £170

Bit tipsy walking home from a night out, took phone out to look at pics and dropped face down on pavement! Screen shattered. Obviously not insured. It seems that the only way I can get it repaired is to pay £170 at an Apple shop. Anyone manage to repair their iPhone 5screen for less?? Any advice gratefully received

It invalidates your warranty by not getting Apple to fix it, and now you have alerted them to it, they will know if you get it fixed elsewhere, and if something else goes wrong , you are gubbed.I would suck it up I'm afraid and just get it fixed

Yup that's what I have decided to do.....still hurts though
