Just reading the thread on the pg 11 year old and about growing up too quick. Reminded me of this link \link{http://www.startribune.com/804/story/358012.html\bling for baby}. All a bit creepy...saw a Tshirt in ASDA for a three year old with 'Am I Bovered?' Ok, except surely three year olds shouldn't know catchphrases from programmes on that late. Or am I just being incredibly naive to believe I control the TV remote, deciding what DS will watch (and since he is under 1, that will currently be nothing).Shall we reignite that contentitious debate?

(DH really controls remote Envy...but am I bovvered?)

i dont think they necessarily watch the tv to know the slogan. i have never seen a single episode of that programme yet i know that its from the Catherine Tate show. i also have escaped teh horrednous Britian one with the chav girl, yet i still know the catchphrase of yeah but.

sadly the drivel that often comes from teh box in the corner has the power to become part of every day language amongst tenagers. it then gets heard by the younger children who are depserate to appear "cool" and so want to be part of the new craze so they start saying it too.

though why any parent would want their child walking around with that on their chest is beyond me
