Chief suspect in Delhi rape and murder dead in jail

Ram Singh, the bus driver who allegedly led the gang that raped and murdered the student in Delhi, has been found hanged in jail. The authorities are saying "That's unfortunate in a high security jail" and his family are saying he was in good mental health.

I saw that as breaking news yesterday afternoon. Not sure what to think TBH. It is inevitable that he would have been hung, however I imagine the family of the victim are angry that he won't be tried.
