Another interesting report: here . Apparently, toddlers need an hour of exercise per day. Mine's watching TV at the moment . Better get out!

Mine is watching Tigger movie on TV now. Does bouncing round the room copying Tigger count do you think?!

Weather is horrid so will be in house most of time too so will have to do even more over the weekend to make up for it I guess.

My dd never sits still, does bouncing about on and off furniture count as exercise?

Hulababy · 16/01/2004 09:58

TBH, I wish my DD would sometimes be still for longer than 5 minutes at a time. Only time se isn't jumpng and dancing around is when she is in bed

Peter Allen on 5-Live has said "I don't believe it" -- neither do I!? Come on, 'fess up, who has a sedentary toddler?

My kids get bored with TV after about 20 minutes, even Cbeebies... 4yoDS can play on the computer for up to an hour, though.

And if anyone has got a sedentary toddler, can I do swapsies for a day or two every so often......please, for my sanity

DD is currently a sedentary toddler thanks to a tummy bug. It's lovely, but wouldn't be right all the time.

I have a sendentary toddler! I take him to Tinygym and he lies on the floor.
