Why is this happening more on public transport

Recently i have seen so many of this behaviour on public transport, it must be horrible for passengers to watch this.

when you think of how many millions of people are travelling on the tube every day, it really doesn't happen all that often.

In 20 years of commuting on the tube I've probably only seen 2 things that have made me get off at the next station

People can film it now and make it public easily.

I agree Begonia, mobile phones that can record video discreetly means this behaviour is much more of a news story. I don't remember seeing anything like this after 15 years in London.
