Heartbreaking story...please share if in Oxford area

I read a really heartbreaking story today, about a homeless man who is heartbroken after having his dog stolen - here; it just made me feel so sad.

Please if you live in Oxfordshire or around can you share and pass on this story.

I really hope they are reunited.

Saddened actually that nobody has shown any interest in this thread.

I live in Oxford and this story is very well known - everyone I know is on the lookout. So sad :(

Dogs are so very important to homeless owners, they are real lifesaver to some in fact. I used to sleep rough and knew many others who would openly say that their dog was what kept them going day after shitty day.

Can't bear to read the comments. I assume its people criticising the man for having a dog which is just plain wrong. Most homeless dog owners take the utmost care of their friend, many will actually go without a lot of help as most hostels won't take dogs and these days you often can;t access other services if you aren't in a hostel.

It is going round on Facebook.

Glad to hear Commander that it's known about in the Oxford area and people are looking out.

Mynameis, yes some of the comments on there are hideous. Some people have no idea.

I read the link, and most of the comments, before anyone posted on here. I even mentioned it to DH. I just didn't post anything until now.
