She was so brave

SorenLorensen · 07/04/2006 22:21

Very moving when she talks about leaving her boy at nursery for the first time - that must have been so hard for her.

hulababy · 07/04/2006 22:25

What a brave woman. Glad she has been able to move on and become a really happy mum.

monkeytrousers · 07/04/2006 22:31

What a wonderful woman, so articulate. That's a really inspirational piece. I'm really happy for her and her beautiful boy and hubby.

To lower the tone just a tad, when she said, "you don't actually realise it until you have your own", I thought about the bloody Gina Ford debacle.

Am I the only one who thinks her compensation award was paltry?

I've just read the article where she says security is so much better in schools these days.

Last week I had to deliver some stuff to a junior school. I was looking for the Main Entrance and headed towards a door that was wide open. I went inside walked along the corridor and looked for the reception desk. It soon became obvious this was not the main entrance at all but a side entrance. There was no-one around and I could have just walked in.

Scary.
