so then do I let my dd go and meet the queen tomorrow. Her school has been chosen to line the path of the church that the queen will enter, 4 children per class have been selected, she is one of them.

Apparently the person who required medical attention, walked into my doctors surgery yesterday afternoon seeking help, with what looked like chemical burns, he was referred to the hospital where it all happended last night. I wondered why all the police where outside the surgery when I took the kids today

I'm sure she'll be fine - security will be so tight and there will have been a major police operation underway for this visit for some time. All behind the scenes.

Actually, she'll probably be safer there tomorrow than anywhere... Security will have been stepped up to reflect the threat, and with 4 already in custody any other members of a terrorist cell would probably be keeping a v low profile.

But it's a horrible thing to be forced to think about. I bet you'll be v glad this time tomorrow when it's all over and she's had a fab day.
