It is painful hearing him being grilled as the delays, the telling the wrong story for so long and not letting the programme going ahead are so obviously shockingly bad

He is quite happily blaming Peter Rippon while the attention is on the blog.

There is more to this than Rippon's judgment. He is being made to be a scapegoat imvho.

The idea that they will move on soon to the subject of the 'tributes' won't help him relax. It is just impossible to justify 4 tribute programmes about a 'star' he had been warned Newsnight had serious issues with.
Newsnight were not going to be investigating something trivial.

Good, can't stand the man and can't wait to see the back if him. I didn't think it was possible to have someone worse than Mark Thompson as DG but GE is a nasty man.

But the tributes were broadcast under Thompson's watch. Why isn't he being grilled?

But GE was director of Vision so he commissioned them.

'The BBC' i.e. him (for the moment) must be absolutely shitting themselves. (As must the other organisations which showed compliance with JS's goals.)

Didn't like how he came across on Panorama. Haven't seen the MP grilling. He didn't seem trustworthy to me.

GE is a bot of a twat tbh. Have peek at his Twitter account. I haven't looked recently and it has nothing to do with tge current case but he's just a knob. IMHO.
