10 year sentence for breaking baby's ribs!!!!!

How do you squeeze a baby so hard you break it's ribs. This is shocking:

Actually I'm quite impressed by the length of the sentence. Many parents who have committed manslaughter get less.

At least the courts have taken child abuse seriously for once. I just hope he actually gets to serve a good proportion of the sentence and is not allowed out excessively early for good behaviour.
