just heard this on the news, fantastic! I really didn't think he was going to get out. I really hope he doesn't return to Iraq. And I hope he thanks the security forces for getting him out, .

This just proves what a FAB job the forces are doing out there regardless of whether we believe they should be there or not.

It is great but sad that the American that was taken hostage with them was found dead a few weeks ago.

I do feel sorry for the American woman (think it was a woman?). I imagine it may have been her death that prompted the rescue.

It must be doubly hard for Tom Fox's family knowing he was the only one that didn't make it. I think there's a strong irony in the fact that this group went out as peace activists, presumably anti-war, and ended up being rescued by the very troops whose presence they oppose....
