Surely no-one will vote for Nick Clegg ever again now?

Not after this, surely?

I would be very suprised if he keeps his seat in Sheffield as its a high student area. His whole campaign rested on not rising the Student Fees, surely no one would trust him again? I think he will be vetoed as Lib Dem Leader before the next election, most Lib Dems know that leaving him in would be political suicide.

I like the comments under the clip, " They must have photo shopped his nose" Grin

Floralnomad · 20/09/2012 13:00

I doubt anyone but die hard lib dems would have voted for him again since 10 minutes after they formed the coalition !

somebloke123 · 20/09/2012 15:28

Probably not, but then is probably destined to be given some high EU post such as an EU Commissioner, in which he will not need to be subject to any further democratic elections, and where he can join the others who have been variously rejected by the democratic process e.g. Mandelson, Patten, Kinnock.

MissM · 20/09/2012 19:08

At least Kinnock stuck to his principles and didn't lie.

Lots of lib dem suppporters are conservatives in a different colour, and wouldn't care about this, and will probably vote for them again because they fit in with their small town, small minded principles.

Trills · 20/09/2012 19:14

I would still vote Lib Dem because I like and approve of my MP.

We don't actually directly vote for the party leaders in this country.

madwomanintheattic · 20/09/2012 19:18

That is freaking hilarious.

Sorry.

I'm going to adapt that and sing it to the kids later.

A new realm in political comedy. Spitting image is dead.

MissM · 20/09/2012 21:36

I've been humming it to myself all day and giggling as I go.

Love the comment underneath: 'Guys, can we focus on what's important here - the music!'
