Very sad news. Condolences to his family.

He was on the really wild show with michaela strachan.

The Really Wild Show is the one I'm thinking of.

Very sad.

Poor guy. Leukemia is a rotten crappy disease.

Ohhhh... that's so very sad. He had a fascinating life. There was a programme on R4 about him last year, when he lived with Gavin Maxwell (Ring of Bright Water) as a teen.

His finger was bitten off by one of Maxwell's otters.

Just looked him up, he had eight children and eight grandchildren.

I liked him, he was a good presenter.

Very sad news. Hornbill's right, that programme about Nutkin and Maxwell was fascinating. Maxwell sounded barking mad very eccentric.

Terry Nutkin had such a perfect name for a wildlife specialist as well. I do love nominative determinism, especially since I found that very satisfying term for it.

He always seemed like such a lovely man, loved him on the really wild show.
