He was a bit of a bastard to his wife was he not? Various flings all over the place and treated the wife with contempt/like a door mat. Fathered 3 kids with women he had flings with over the years, and felt no remorse over his infidelity. Refused to acknowledge at least one of his 'other' children, refused to meet her etc. All conveniently brushed over in the gushing tributes made in response to his death. Sorry, I can't get quite so emotional about this old-time entertainer.

If someone had posted on here saying their dh was a serial cheat and emotional abuser we would be screaming "leave the bastard".

He treated women like shit. He had three dc he refused to acknowledge.
Just because someone made people laugh shouldn't excuse that sort of behavior.

I just hope the family are decent enough to make sure the illegitimate dc get a share of his money.
