Sad Poor child.

amillionyears · 21/08/2012 15:49

the poor boy and his family. Sad

Ambrosius · 21/08/2012 15:49

:( I hope they manage to find the bastards that did it.

winnybella · 21/08/2012 15:55

I hope so, too, Ambrosius. If they are brazen enough to just march a 14yo to a bathroom in a busy shopping centre, I think it's probably safe to say it wasn't first time they abused someone and/or they won't stop there.

Christ. What dangerous, vile men. That poor boy :(

SomebodySaveMe · 21/08/2012 15:56

I just read this. It's awful. That poor boy, I hope they find the sick c*nts who did this.

Champneys · 21/08/2012 15:59

That poor boy. It'll take years if ever to get over this. I hope the vile bastards are taken off the streets for good.
Glad there is cctv footage of them, shouldn't be long before they are caught.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 21/08/2012 16:03

That's horrendous. You'd think a 14 year old would've ok to go to public loos alone. Poor lad Sad

MrsCampbellBlack · 21/08/2012 16:06

Oh god how awful.

Poor boy and his poor family.

THERhubarb · 21/08/2012 16:06

Oh this is awful! I have an 8yo and I must admit I do often worry about him using public loos, even when I'm stood outside!

They might get caught but that poor boy will never get over what happened to him.

Scum. They will hopefully get caught and I expect they will get some unpleasant treatment in prison when word gets out what they did.

Dillydollydaydream · 21/08/2012 16:14

Sick b*stards Angry hope they find them.
Poor boy.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 21/08/2012 16:16

Oh god that is awful, the poor boy.

I already hated sending 9yr old ds into the loo's on his own as it is.

JustinBoobie · 21/08/2012 16:18

Sad sickening.

horrifying isn't it? poor boy. very rare but it's still a shock that really isn't any age where they're safe. there was a case last year about 2 brothers being raped in mcdonalds toilets, they were 8 and 6 or something and that scarred me. hope they catch these dangerous men. i wonder why it's taken 3 months to release the details? if i'd been in Manchester that day i wouldnt remember much useful by now :(

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 21/08/2012 17:16

How bizarre though.

Boy using toilets in Arndale centre
frogmarched out through Arndale Centre to toilets in Debenhams.

Why not rape him in the original toilets. Surely taking a huge risk marching him though the shopping centre?

That should mean that someone saw something though.

charlottehere · 21/08/2012 17:18

OMG shocking. Sad

JemimaPuddle · 21/08/2012 17:23

He hadn't gone into the toilet to use it :(
I've read on the sky news app that they grabbed him in the Arndale centre, threatened him then lead him to debenhams (including in a lift), then into the toilets. Even more terrifying if that's possible.
Poor boy

Nuttyprofessor · 21/08/2012 23:36

They have reasonably good CCTV pictures, hopefully someone will know them.

ExitPursuedByABear · 22/08/2012 10:46

Apparently the information has not been released earlier because the boy was too traumatised. Sad

Absolutely awful, that poor child.

LIZS · 22/08/2012 12:57

Dreadful, for the boy and his family. However can't help thinking that a 2-month lapse may mean others have been put at risk and the trail gone cold.

CiderwithBuda · 22/08/2012 12:58

Horrible. And so scary.

I remember a thread on here once asking what age to let boys go to public toilets alone and I jokingly replied that mine wouldn't be going alone till he was 16. He is now 11 and has been going alone for a few years now. Refuses to come into ladies with me. And I am sure he would get some funny looks if he did.

Poor poor boy.
