Yeah, yeah, DM link and all, but I hope this story is accurate, because it restores faith in human nature.
What an amazing woman to instinctively follow this child to ensure his safety in spite of the risks. He survived with just cuts and bruises, but no doubt would have drowned in moments had she not gone after him and waited for help. I am in awe of people like this.

I'm more shocked that the daily mail printed something nice about teachers Grin

Am glad they were both safe

So am I
Made me cry, possibly because my three year old is oil and sat playing with my toes

What bravery

Read that and am now a little choked by it. What a brave woman.

HumphreyCobbler · 12/07/2012 12:57

that is incredible.

A very brave woman. But honestly, wouldn't a lot of us do it without hesitation? I'd like to think that I would and I'm sure many others would. I hope that poor little love recovers from his trauma quickly

Thanks for posting this - what a wonderful human being that teacher is!

I'm really not sure, MOSagain, I'm really not sure I would jump down a mine shaft, ie into a black hole, where I couldn't see the bottom. Nope. Don't think I would, tbh!
