This is just so awful. A mother has lost her 2 year old child and her unborn child in a car accident in Torquay.

Don't know why I'm posting here as it's clearly not a point to be discussed, I just can't get it out of my mind. I'm not I would be able to carry on. Poor poor family. :(

Horrendous. This has been playing on my mind too, as a mother of a similar age with a young child with another on the way. So sad :(

This has really upset me too. I am pg and have a 2yo. We would not be human if we did not empathise. I guess the best thing for us to do in situations like this, and also with dear Expat, is to count our blessings, and hold our little ones even closer.

Rest in peace little ones, and love to the poor parents x

I can't stop thinking about this either. How utterly horrific :(

This brought home how much more awful the outcome could have been when my dh, with ds in car, met an eastern european driving on the wrong side of the road. The collision was bad enough to activate airbags and to write off the car, but luckily both of my boys were OK.
I think this accident is so, so sad. How will they ever put their lives back together?

I've been thinking of this as well, especially as I live not far from Torbay. I know that stretch of road well. It's just unbelievably sad. Both parents are still in a critical condition. I can hardly bear to think of what they're going through.
