(have decided on 'News' not sleb twaddle as it seems more serious than the ST topic.)

BBC link

I spent hours watching his Adrenaline Junkie series while bf DD. He seems to have shaped up to be a good bloke these days, despite his chaotic upbringing.

Poor bugger.

He comes across as a really nice chap, all told.

he is so young, and has a young child. Very sad.

I think his attitude towards it is brilliant "adapt and overcome".

Many, many people with MS live full and active lives. I think it's important to remember it is not a death sentence.

I know, I hope he is able to still be active for a very long time yet. Will be interesting to see what he gets up to next.

It seemed so unfair (not that its ever fair) when he had tined his life around and sorted himself out by doing extreme sports etc that gave him an outlet and now (well knows now)got something that will eventually prevent it all.
And a new baby...
Poor bloke

eally hope it holds off fo rhim

I feel such sadness at the thought of a young man, just starting out with a new little family with this hanging over him. What a way to spend those first few weeks post baby.

I saw a clip of Sharon Osbourne on a chat show and while there is a thread running on here about how she's all "me me me" it nearly broke my heart to watch her so clearly devastated about the news. They seem like such a tight (albeit alternative) family, and just what such sad, sad news to fall upon them.

Sad

sad to hear that
he seems a lovely bloke. so hope things go ok for him.

girliefriend · 19/06/2012 20:42

It is really sad and I hope he stays well for a really long time. Its a cruel illness and the causes are still not fully understood Sad. So I hope the publicity helps this cause.
