I just read this article and it reminded me of this thread, in particular of those who had queried why someone who had been convicted could not be named, as I had wondered the same thing.

This should shut the bigoted conspiracy theorists up.

I heard BNP and other "nationalists" claiming the "cannot be named" was due to the person's influence with a corrupt Muslim network in authority and that he was a powerful man- more millionaire MI5-connected government consultant than lowly Northern taxi driver.

Now they've been proved wrong...

I've known this has been going on for years. I live in Birmingham. In certain parts this aint anything new. At last the vile backward racists who do the same things here might be caught.

SS I have come across similar things in Birmingham- which can, unfortunately, be a very dangerous place for young teenage girls. Anywhere can be but the socioeconomic factors, degree of organised crime and the size of the place means it's even more of a problem.
