Some threads are getting too personal!

Don't mean to be offensive to anyone but I do think some threads are just getting too personal to named individuals and not discussing the real topic. I don't need to tell you which ones you MN probably already know. Does anyone agree or is this just my view? larsxx

The recent debate about the demonstration over the cartoons. I just found that it was getting personal and not discussing the real issues.

There should always been respect for other views and that why it can be discussed. I think some people were offended. What I have noticed the more offended someone tends to be to another mn the more posting the thread gets. Maybe it's just me. larsxx

This always happens with arguments here. And threads that are full of people shouting at one another are more interesting than cuddly nice threads.

That being said, I try not to get involved in the really contentious stuff, as I don't find it very useful or pleasant.

No you're not Lars. TBH the whole thing just bores me to tears now. Can't anyone talk about anything else?

well it's always the case that a good ruck attracts interest from all sides, it's always been the case on mn too.there are still alternative threads or continue to break in yourself with the voice of reason
