see here On first reading I felt very sorry indeed for this couple and their struggle to keep going. Then on thinking about it a bit they did launch in and start a family very young, before their working lives were sorted out. He seems to have messed about a bit with a degree, then the navy, now wanting to be a carpenter etc. and hasn't marketed his painting a decorating skills. So, then I felt a bit less sorry for them. I did however feel outraged about the abuse of people like this by the finance companies, work agencies, apprenticeship schemes and also the Job; Centre who couldn't understand that once back in work he couldn't take a day off to go and see them about the old claim. Just relieved my own circumstances remain a little happier than this. Should be a very interesting series of articles
