RIP , I used to love the Monkees :(

My mother will be sobbing at this news - he was her favourite Monkee.

I did like that TV show - I liked the funny walking and running they did.

RIP - I think you may have been the original boy band heartthrob Davy Jones.

He was my first crush :(

I loved the Monkees. I always remember my horrible grandmother coming into my bedroom and looking at my posters and saying 'But they're so dirty aren't they'.
I think that may have started my rebel rock n roll phase.

I'm so sad about this. He always looked incredibly young.

Oh he was my fave monkee too - I still love dancing around to their greatest hits in my kitchen

I saw a tv prog about boybands at the weekend, he was in it a fair bit, and although it was probably recorded months ago, he looked really well
