It's here, it's arrived !!!!

It was lovely near Preston at lunchtime today (clouded over again now).

The last time I went to Manchester it was indeed a matter of Berghaus with hood up - foolishly forgot to wear Goretex trousers and got soaked legs.

The last time I went to Manchester was about 8 years ago and it bucketed it down the entire time. It was in the middle of the summer, and I had come from a 40+ degree heatwave in Greece. I was so not prepared! The entire contents of my suitcase were completely useless! I had to buy a coat!

And just as I read the thread the sun comes out!! Briefly, then runs & hides behind a (big, grey) cloud again...
