Victoria Beckham,Bad mother or not?

I used to think that posh came across as a really loving caring mum who had her priorities right.
Brooklyn seemed to go every where with her and there were lots of pics in the press of her dressed down out shopping etc with him. I really admired the way she juggled work and family life and respected the way she prefered not have a nanny but have family members help out.

In fact she said several times in interviews and I believe in her book that it was v important to her not to have a nanny, but to raise brooklyn as a family unit.

Am I the only one to think this has totally gone out of the window since she had Romeo.
That poor baby seems to have hardly seen his mother since he was born.
He has been taken to hospital 3 times in 5 weeks and only one of those times was his mother in the same country as him.
Not to the mention that those two kids must have no stucture or routine to there lives at all.
One minute there in Madrid the next London Then Manchestwr, then New York then Japan.
How many air miles has Romeo clocked up in just 14 mths. And how healthy is this?
To me she seems incredibly selfish, She has millions in the bank for gods sake, she can afford to cut back a little on the globe trotting surley even if just for a few months so the kids can settle in one place and perhaps she could be bothered to finally enrole brookly in school.
Rant over

ANYWAY. No one has mentioned her hair. Real or not? Discuss.

elena - I don't know it's not true but equally I don't know it is true. and for the record I don't really care but I think its wrong to target one particular woman and imply she's a bad mum when you have no real idea of what goes on.

my point is that you are not in possession of ALL of the facts - only snippets of info (provided by the media) as to where they are and what they are doing - you cannot possibly make assumptions like the children don't have a stable life on the basis of that.

Not real, wigs and extensions. Boobs, not real, tummy, not really real, reckon she had a tuck after csection to tighten up any skin. Do realise she's tiny anyway but, apparently, it's becoming increasingly popular in loads of money land, despite the fact you should wait until post birth of last child. Head full of trivia today. Made a massive cock up at work that am trying to forget.

Sykes - what is work? I am about to be sacked for lack of it methinks.

Oliveoil, don't know but am v good at avoiding the concept. I can't BELIEVE how much time I waste and put myself in stupid positions cancelling meetings/lunches etc when I REALLY need my job. Must give myself yet another kick up the arse.

Agree with Sykes about all the "not real" things. Starting to wonder about David's hair too. It seems to be growing rather rapidly.

Lol at all of you trying to discuss tgis intelligently and then all slagging off her hair/boobs!!

Hooray for you all have raised a laugh here

Katierocket, I don't understand your sarcastic comment about not spending quality time with your ds whilst you are on mumsnet.
That is absolutely not what anyone on this thread is implying. And why the references to fighting and scrapping all the time?

For all your defence of VB You don't seem to care about upseting the actual people who are involved in this thread.
There I've said it

BTW Elena I totally agree with you.

Ohh what fun ...have been out to the park with kids and come back to this thread where the danders are still up.

Back to the subject ... she called her kid Romeo for god's sake ..isn't that enough damning evidence to castigate the woman in to oblivion?

Charlize, I've got to go to work in a mo. Bloody nights again. But isnt it true that we are spending too much time on here and not being as good a mum as we should be. Hands up any one who hasn't had a tinge of guilt over this one?
I'm not being sarcastic. Just honest.

Am goin got stop now though

one of the good things about MN charlize is being able to hold (and put forward) strong views while at the same time not getting upset by other people opnions AND having a bit of fun.

I know beetroot, I don't mind at all people expressing their opinions, but I did feel it was personal against me with katierocket.
She seems to take exception to me slaggin VB but then goes and does it herself.
I have absolutley no wish whatsoever of getting in a slangin match with someone over the internet.
I was just tryin to bitch about VB like everyone else.

You All Are Just Jealous of My Gorgeous Body.
You All Are Just Jealous, Full Stop.
My Children Are Dressed Up Like Beautiful Flamingos. Not that they wouldn't look smashin' in mere bin bags, you know.
Romeo has all the little girlies at ClubMed on the Riviera swooning for him, already.
KatieRocket, I bet you have Medusa Curls instead of my luscious locks. And a shapeless body with tiny little raisin-shaped nipples, somewhere near your pudgy neck!
Yes I do look like a fish, a magnificent golden Marlin, that's me.

Life is so easy, when I'm so much better than all of you!
